ECG Interpretation and Pharmacology
Course Description
This course is specifically designed to address a key knowledge gap in Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Pharmacology. Basic arrhythmia found in ACLS and common cardiac emergencies seen in the field will be reviewed for maximum student retention. Nationally recognized ACLS medications will be discussed in relation to treatment for such cardiac emergencies.
Target Audience
This course is designed for a wide variety of healthcare providers such as Registered Nurses, ECG technicians, Pharmacists, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, Medical Doctors, and EMTs pursuing a paramedic training program. The ECG and Pharmacology course is encouraged for those students pursuing ACLS and PALS without previous exposure to its curriculum.

ECG & Pharmacology Student Workbook. Text books may be purchased online prior to class start date.
Class Length
This course runs approximately 6 hrs for both ECG and Pharmacology modules.
Prerequisite
BLS Healthcare provider is strongly recommended.
