The Preparation Course is an interactive course, structured to prepare students for an intensive Paramedic Program. The class meets twice a week, for 4 weeks and students will be evaluated in the Didactic, Psychomotor and Affective Domains. Students completing the course will receive 24 hours of Continuing Education and will meet the Pre-Requisite for OCEMT’s Paramedic Program.
The course reviews the fundamentals of Paramedic Programs in a fast paced, intensive format that covers the following components:
Course Dates: February 4, 2025 – February 27, 2025
Course Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am – 5pm
Attendance: Attendance is mandatory for all 8 days. If you miss more than one class day, you will not receive a certificate of completion.

The $200 registration fee is non-refundable. Payments must be made on or before the due dates listed for each class. Failure to pay on assigned date will result in being dropped from the program.
The required student workbook for the course is Rapid Interpretation of EKG’s, Sixth Edition. Please purchase the book before your class begins. The book is available for purchase online.
